Global Future Ready Merit Scholarship

The exclusive merit scholarship is available for a limited number of students either studying in GIIS campus or new admissions. In Bangalore, the grades for which the scholarship is applicable are:

● For the Whitefield Campus, the applicable grades are Grade 7 – 12

● For the Bannerghatta Campus, only Grade 7 is applicable

Features of the Scholarship

Based on the applicable grades, the scholarship is divided into various categories:

1.  For Grade 11-12

For Grade 11 and 12 students, the scholarship is eligible for a tenure of two years, and the eligibility criteria are:

  • Applicants must be residents/ permanent residents of the country.
  • Academic performance of the past two years, including the 10th Board Exam Report.

It is further divided into subcategories:

Category A: For students with a percentage of 96.01% and above, the scholarship is 50% of the tuition fees.

Category B: For students with a percentage between 94.01% and 96.01%, the scholarship is 35% of the tuition fees.

Category C: For students with a percentage between 90% and 94%, the scholarship is 25% of the tuition fees.

2.  For Grade 9-10

For Grade 9 and 10 students, the scholarship is eligible for a tenure of two years, and the eligibility criteria are:

  • Applicants must be residents/ permanent residents of the country.
  • Academic performance of the past two years

The scholarship is divided into four categories:

a)      Category A: For students with a percentage of 97.01% and above, the scholarship is 20% of the tuition fees.

b)     Category B: For students with a percentage between 95.01% and 97.0%, the scholarship is 15% of the tuition fees.

c)      Category C: For students with a percentage between 93.01% and 95%, the scholarship is 12% of the tuition fees.

d) Category D: For students with a percentage between 90% and 93%, the scholarship is 10% of the tuition fees.

3.  For Grade 7-8:

For Grade 7 and 8 students, the scholarship is eligible for a tenure of two years, and the eligibility criteria are:

  • Applicants must be residents/ permanent residents of the country.
  • Academic performance of the past two years

The scholarship is divided into four categories:

a)      Category A: For students with a percentage of 97.01% and above, the scholarship is 20% of the tuition fees.

Apply for the Scholarship

If you are eligible, then apply for the GIIS FUTURE READY Merit Scholarship by following the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the GIIS Bangalore website and apply for the Global FUTURE-READY Merit Scholarship. Fill in all the necessary details mentioned in the online application form. Make sure that you have correctly filled the details as that will determine whether you are shortlisted in the first round.

Step 2: Upload all the relevant documents with the application form. The documents include:

– Upload academic records for the past two years 

– Household Income (Latest IT return for Father & Mother)  

Step 3: Once you have submitted your application, you will be informed whether your application has been accepted or not within ten working days.

Step 4: On acceptance of the application form, you will be given a scholarship assessment, which is mandatory for all the students.

Step 5: Next step is the one-to-one Interview with the scholarship council members.

Step 6: You’ll be notified if you are selected, and the scholarship value will be disbursed to you.
